Breakfast and Bar Assistant

About the role

The Cloud One hotels are opening their first UK location in London and are looking for a motivated Breakfast and Bar Assistant on a full-time basis. This is not a typical waiter's role: the assistant carries out a wide range of all-round duties, including food preparation, buffet management, kitchen porter tasks, table clearance and cleaning, hosting guests and supporting bar service. Flexibility and a willingness to cover all these areas are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast items, including baking bakery products and warming food daily for the buffet
• Refill the buffet according to daily demand
• Assist with kitchen porter duties such as cleaning and dishwashing
• Clear and clean tables promptly to keep the dining area tidy
• Greet and assist customers warmly
• Handle cash and credit card payments accurately and efficiently
• Support bar service, including preparing drinks and keeping the area clean
• Open and close shifts according to operational procedures
• Assist with inventory management and restocking
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the shift

Required profile

• Completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or professional experience in the hotel or catering industry, or someone looking for a change of career
• Open, communicative and able to host guests, with a passion for the hotel industry
• Flexible and creative, with a good sense of quality even under pressure
• Team player willing to help across departments
