Room Attendant

About the role

The Hoxton Shepherd's Bush, a London boutique hotel with 237 bedrooms and a restaurant, is looking for a Room Attendant. You will keep guest rooms and public areas clean and tidy to brand standards, report maintenance issues and help the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to brand standards, and keep guest floors clean and well maintained
• Report maintenance defects in rooms, public areas and back of house through KnowCross
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand and quality audit standards
• Clean and maintain exterior areas such as guest entrances and loading bays
• Oversee daily delivery and collection of linen and terry, and stock linen and housekeeping supplies on floors and in stores
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks, including cleaning public and back of house areas
• Follow Health and Safety standards and report breaches to the Head Housekeeper; handle cleaning materials correctly and follow COSHH regulations
• Attend required training and provide friendly, helpful service to guests

Required profile

• High level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high guest room standards
