About the role
We are looking for a Remote Business Development Executive to join a forward‑thinking private company based in Gloucester, UK. You will drive new business growth in the silicone‑coated materials sector, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients across emerging industrial sectors.
- Develop commercial proposals and lead negotiations to secure profitable contracts.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract signing.
- Nurture existing accounts and pursue expansion opportunities aligned with company strategy.
- Support marketing initiatives and represent the company at industry events.
Required profile
- Proven success in new business development within technical, manufacturing or industrial markets.
- Experience with silicone‑coated materials such as release liners.
- Strong commercial acumen in pricing, quoting, margin management and negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical products in customer‑centric terms.
- Self‑motivated hunter mindset with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with technical and operational teams.
- Resilience and adaptability in complex, long‑sales‑cycle negotiations.
- Strategic mindset for identifying new markets and emerging opportunities.
