About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive apprenticeship sales across the UK. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to London for team events and training.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new SME and enterprise clients through market research, outreach and networking.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to match apprenticeship solutions with client needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing and apprenticeship start.
  • Achieve monthly targets and generate uncapped commission on successful apprenticeship starts.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and report on pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with internal learning and development teams to ensure delivery quality.

Required profile

  • Proven experience selling apprenticeship, training or similar learning solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with senior decision‑makers.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel to London up to six times per year.
