Electrical Engineer – Data Centers & Commercial Projects

About the role

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Building Engineering Services Group. You will design and develop detailed electrical systems for projects such as data centres, commercial offices, mixed‑use developments, industrial facilities and healthcare buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with detailed electrical design tasks and drawing production on data centre and other projects.
• Prepare specifications, reports and drawings in line with industry guides and project programmes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project solutions.
• Participate in meetings and code‑compliance reviews with governing agencies.
• Conduct site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review electrical documents for conflicts and write/edit electrical specifications.
