Group Financial Controller

About the role

Moonpig Group is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead its finance function across reporting, governance, compliance and operations in a listed‑company environment. The role sits at the heart of the business, interacting with senior leadership, the Audit Committee and the Board, and offers the chance to shape finance strategy as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead external reporting processes, including half‑year and full‑year IFRS reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and support the Group audit process.
• Develop and enforce technical accounting policies and governance.
• Prepare high‑quality papers for the Audit Committee and Board.
• Direct the global tax strategy, governance and compliance framework.
• Ensure corporation tax, VAT/GST, employment tax and other regulatory compliance.
• Support tax optimisation initiatives and oversee tax provisioning and disclosures.
• Lead sustainability and ESG reporting, including emerging IFRS sustainability standards.
• Oversee controls, compliance, governance and enterprise risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with experience in a listed or multinational environment.
• Proven track record in group financial reporting, tax governance and ESG reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen, curiosity and adaptability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions.
