Investment Banking Intern (Institutional Sales)

About the role

Swiss Finance is offering an on‑site Investment Banking internship in London focused on institutional sales, capital introduction and investor engagement for private placements. The role provides hands‑on exposure to outreach, allocator research and early‑stage bookbuilding‑style workflows, ideal for students or recent graduates seeking real‑world investment banking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Call and engage with investors, allocators and family offices across multiple regions.
• Research qualified investors in the UK, Europe, US, Hong Kong and globally.
• Identify accredited and sophisticated investors and conduct early‑stage qualification calls.
• Maintain structured call logs, CRM entries and pipeline trackers.
• Support preparation and follow‑up of investor meetings.
• Assist in creating sales materials and capital markets content.
• Gather allocator intelligence through phone research.
• Participate in institutional sales discussions and internal briefings.
• Support capital‑raising workflow for affiliate and client funds.

Required profile

• Studying or graduated in sales, marketing, finance, economics, business or related fields.
• Interest in asset management, capital raising, investment banking, hedge funds or institutional sales.
• Confident professional phone communication.
• Proactive, persistent and comfortable with structured outreach.
• Strong English communication abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in London.
• Comfortable with an unpaid internship in exchange for brand exposure and training.
