About the role
We are partnering with a leading independent drinks business that boasts a strong reputation across the UK drinks industry. As the company expands its commercial presence in the Off‑Trade channel, we are seeking a National Account Manager to own key retail accounts and drive profitable, sustainable growth across an extensive wine portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of strategically important national retail accounts and customer partnerships.
- Manage the full commercial agenda, including sales, profitability, forecasting and trade spend.
- Build and execute customer growth plans aligned with wider business objectives.
- Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Mentor and support National Account Executives or relevant team members.
Required profile
- Strong FMCG sales experience, ideally within the wine industry.
- Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and managing major retail portfolios.
- Negotiation, forecasting and financial management expertise.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
What we offer
- Salary of £45,000 per annum plus car allowance, bonus and benefits.
