People & Culture Lead – UK (12‑month Parental Leave Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a People and Culture Lead to cover a 12‑month parental leave in the UK, reporting to the Global People & Culture Manager and joining the UK leadership team. The role will drive the implementation of our global people strategy and support a high‑performing, inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, coaching managers on team dynamics, difficult conversations and leadership effectiveness.
• Empower people leaders to own their teams, up‑skilling them and holding them accountable for empathetic and decisive people decisions.
• Lead People & Culture initiatives through a post‑change environment, ensuring role clarity, morale, alignment and retention.
• Oversee employee relations, compliance, policy development, recruitment, onboarding and day‑to‑day P&C administration.
• Collaborate with the global P&C team to deliver key people initiatives.

Required profile

• Experienced People & Culture practitioner with a strong focus on empathy, emotional intelligence and approachability.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, switch between strategic advisory and hands‑on execution, and challenge senior leaders constructively.
• Demonstrated experience guiding organisations through change and building capable leaders.
• Relevant qualification such as CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma or equivalent experience.
