Pre-Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Pre‑Construction Manager to join our Building Solutions South team in London. The role is full‑time, 40 hours per week, and does not include sponsorship for work visas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all pre‑construction activities, from the issuance of tender documents through to project handover, ensuring timelines are met.
• Work closely with commercial, estimating, planning, and design teams to align on project milestones and deliverables.
• Engage proactively with clients and consultants to build strong relationships and maintain confidence in project delivery.
• Identify potential risks early in the pre‑construction phase and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact.
• Assist in bid writing and the development of strategic approaches to win new work.

Required profile

• Demonstrated pre‑construction experience on projects valued up to £20 million, with a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to successful outcomes.
• Hold a full driving licence (any full licence) and possess relevant construction qualifications such as an HNC, HND, degree, or professional membership.
• Exhibit strong communication, time‑management and organisational skills, essential for coordinating complex pre‑construction processes.
