About the role
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Tarmac Kier Joint Venture team at Picketts Lock, London. The role offers a hybrid working model with remote flexibility and occasional office visits, covering 45 hours per week. You will be central to managing the commercial side of highways maintenance projects across North London, from surfacing and drainage to road marking and asset upkeep.
Key responsibilities
- Price works and agree costs with clients before project start
- Manage subcontractors, raise orders and assess payment applications
- Negotiate and agree variations with clients
- Contribute to monthly forecasting and reporting
- Mentor junior team members and share expertise
Required profile
- Proficient with Highways Schedule of Rates and method of measurement
- Experience in highways maintenance projects
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
- Enjoy collaborative team environments
- Proactive and able to solve challenges independently
