About the role
Red Star Brands is seeking a Senior National Account Manager to lead growth with the Tesco Group (Tesco & Booker) and Sainsbury's. You will use an insight‑led, agile approach to expand distribution, increase sales, and build a long‑term platform for our portfolio of premium brands.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, develop and grow the Tesco Group and Sainsbury's accounts across existing and new brands.
- Develop and execute Joint Business Plans to exceed revenue, margin and distribution targets.
- Lead annual negotiations on pricing, promotions and trading terms.
- Prepare and present regular performance reviews to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks, providing data‑driven recommendations.
- Drive brand development by identifying sales drivers and collaborating with Trade Marketing.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure high service levels and accurate forecasting.
- Represent Red Star Brands at trade events, customer shows and industry festivals.
- Build cross‑functional relationships across Sales, Brand, Supply Chain, Commercial and Senior Management teams.
Required profile
- Proven track record in FMCG with strong selling, negotiation and commercial acumen.
- Experience winning listings, delivering growth and driving category performance.
- Good understanding of the market landscape and prior work with grocers and wholesalers, ideally Tesco, Sainsbury's and Booker.
- Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong networking capabilities.
- Ability to interpret customer and market data and turn insights into actions.
- Willingness to travel as required.
