About the role
We are seeking a qualified nurse or midwife with experience in abortion care to join the Choices Team of the NHS Lothian Sexual and Reproductive Health Service as a Senior Sexual Health Practitioner. This is a part‑time Band 6 position focused on termination of pregnancy services.
Required profile
- Registered nurse or midwife with proven experience in providing abortion care.
- Holder of a PVG Scheme membership (child and/or adult) and able to obtain Disclosure Scotland clearance.
- Demonstrates inspirational leadership, caring and compassionate attitudes.
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom and able to meet visa requirements.
- Willing to work part‑time on a pro‑rata salary basis.
