Transport Controller

About the role

The Transport Controller will play a central role in coordinating daily transport operations within a small, dedicated team. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will ensure vehicle movements are planned, monitored and completed efficiently while fostering a positive driver culture.

Key responsibilities

• Debrief drivers and provide real‑time problem solving.
• Communicate with drivers and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
• Uphold transport compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct regular 1‑2‑1s with drivers to support performance and engagement.
• Input data using systems such as Microlise and Tachomaster.

Required profile

• Previous experience in data input and administrative duties.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer literate with solid Excel spreadsheet experience.
• Experience in a transport environment (desirable).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑moving setting.
