About the role
We are seeking a Head of Indirect Procurement to own the development and delivery of a robust indirect procurement strategy that drives performance, innovation, efficiency, and compliance across the organisation. You will lead transformation, optimise supplier partnerships, and ensure alignment with operational needs and FIA Cost Cap regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead a long‑term indirect procurement strategy aligned with organisational performance ambitions.
- Build a scalable, modern procurement operating model for a fast‑growing Formula 1 environment.
- Drive procurement transformation through digital tools, data visibility, and process optimisation.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contracting across multiple indirect spend categories.
- Develop innovative category strategies balancing performance, agility, innovation, and cost efficiency.
- Establish and manage a high‑performing global supplier network meeting Formula 1 standards.
- Implement supplier performance management, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive cost optimisation and spend control while ensuring compliance with FIA Cost Cap regulations.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across technical and non‑technical functions to align procurement with business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing procurement team.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in indirect procurement within a high‑performance or fast‑paced environment.
- Strong track record of delivering procurement transformation and measurable business value.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑category indirect procurement portfolios.
- Demonstrated success in supplier performance improvement, cost optimisation, and value creation.
- Commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to leverage data for decision‑making.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet demanding timescales.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline preferred; CIPS and/or MBA advantageous.
