About the role
We are seeking a PhD‑level academic researcher to embed political science and political theory concepts into our award‑winning board games. You will work remotely with our development team to ensure the games are both engaging and pedagogically sound.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers to translate academic theories into game mechanics.
- Provide clarifications, feedback, and guidance throughout the development process.
- Co‑author the Academic Concepts Booklet that accompanies the game, with full author credit.
- Write a post‑release review highlighting the game’s academic and educational impact.
Required profile
- PhD in Political Science, Political Theory, or Comparative Politics.
- Expertise in at least one area such as democratic theory, civil liberties, environmental politics, or electoral theory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in merging scholarly concepts with game design.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
