Account Executive – Real Estate

About the role

Join an award‑winning insurance broker as an Account Executive focused on real estate and property insurance. You will own a high‑value client portfolio, working in a hybrid London environment with strong market access and the support of an experienced broking team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a real estate/property insurance portfolio, ensuring high service standards.
• Lead the full renewal cycle – market review, negotiation, placement and client communication.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and insurers.
• Identify growth opportunities within the portfolio and support new business initiatives.
• Collaborate with insurers and international brokerage partners as required.
• Maintain accurate records in Acturis and ensure FCA and internal compliance.
• Oversee invoicing, premium collection and funding arrangements.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to spot risks, coverage gaps and upsell potential.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Account Executive in commercial property or real estate insurance.
• Strong background in managing client relationships and insurance portfolios.
• Confident handling renewals, negotiations and insurer placements.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and broker governance.
• ACII qualification or working towards it is preferred.

Required skills

• Acturis (broker management system) experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ACII qualification.
