Accounts Payable Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term in Central London

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accounts Payable Manager to join a fast‑moving advertising company in Central London on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will lead a high‑volume AP function, act as the bridge between our offshore team in India and internal finance partners, and ensure smooth processing of invoices and expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between offshore AP team in India and internal stakeholders.
• Process invoices and staff expenses for the Real Estate team using Microsoft Dynamics GP and D365.
• Review and approve monthly supplier and BACS payment runs, including ad‑hoc payments across EMEA markets.
• Verify foreign‑currency invoice payments and resolve supplier queries.
• Monitor and reconcile aged creditors and bank accounts (HSBC, Deutsche Bank, treasury).
• Support month‑end close activities such as accruals, reconciliations and prepaid entries.
• Drive process improvements and investigate historical discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with S‑Box requirements and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate on ad‑hoc financial queries, reporting and cross‑charging activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Experience in real‑estate or high‑volume transaction environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage offshore teams and communicate across departments.
• Proactive, organised and methodical work approach.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, D365 or AX.
• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting (advantageous).
