Approved Electrician – Full-time Permanent

About the role

We are recruiting an Approved Electrician for a well‑established infrastructure services business operating across the UK. The role is full‑time, permanent and based in Birmingham, delivering critical electrical works for commercial and industrial clients, including fuel retail and forecourt environments.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, inspection and testing on a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.
• Perform reactive and remedial electrical duties, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Liaise directly with clients on‑site to discuss progress and identify further service needs.
• Complete test certifications and RAMS documentation to the required standard.
• Represent the business professionally at all times while working largely independently.

Required profile

• C&G 2330 or equivalent (or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation).
• 18th Edition Certification.
• C&G 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing).
• JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card.
• Hands‑on electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Competent in completing RAMS documentation.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
