Architect – Residential Design (Birmingham)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Architect to join our client’s dynamic team in Birmingham city centre. The role focuses on residential property design, from bespoke homes to multi‑unit developments, and is office‑based.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion.
• Produce high‑quality architectural drawings and 3‑D models using Revit.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site visits and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK building regulations and planning policies.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years experience on residential projects in the UK.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit (portfolio examples required).
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Chartered status is desirable.
