Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – London

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well‑established asbestos consultancy in London. The role combines surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial and mixed‑use properties, offering a balanced mix of field work and laboratory analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R/D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing and reassurance sampling.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Manage workload across multiple client sites while ensuring compliance with legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication, organisational and report‑writing skills.
