About the role
This permanent, full‑time position is for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in Birmingham. You will support a busy consultancy delivering surveying and analytical services across commercial, industrial and public sector sites throughout the Midlands.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys.
- Perform air monitoring, including 4‑stage clearances and re‑occupation certification.
- Conduct bulk sampling and ensure compliance with sampling procedures.
- Produce accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248 guidance.
- Manage workloads across multiple sites and liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout all activities.
Required profile
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 certifications (essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proven experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance.
- Professional, organised and reliable with excellent communication skills.
