Associate Consultant – Graduate (6-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a high‑calibre, intellectually curious graduate to join Deloitte’s Managed Solutions team as an Associate Consultant on an initial six‑month contract. Based in London (2–3 days a week on‑site), you will work with clients in Financial Services, Government, Public Services or Energy, supporting operational and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of operational and project‑based workstreams across client engagements.
• Coordinate activities, track actions, risks and dependencies, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Assist with business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation and reporting.
• Produce clear presentations, updates and management information for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to solve problems and improve operational performance.
• Support governance, controls and reporting processes across programmes and operational teams.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with a degree and consistently high performance.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.
• Approximately 2–3 years of professional experience in operations, business analysis, project management, PMO, consulting or delivery support.
• Experience in regulated environments such as Financial Services, Government/Public Sector or Energy is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confidence presenting to multiple stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to take ownership with limited supervision.
• Team player who responds well to feedback and enjoys collaborative work.
