About the role
The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a dynamic Consultant to join the Emergency Department at Grange University Hospital. You will become part of an established, multidisciplinary team delivering critical care services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and high‑quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Lead and support a multi‑disciplinary team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
- Contribute to service development, teaching and research initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with NHS policies, including the Smoke‑Free Environment policy.
Required profile
- Qualified medical doctor with specialist registration in Emergency Medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams in a high‑pressure environment.
- Commitment to inclusive recruitment and willingness to discuss reasonable adjustments.
