Consultant in Emergency Medicine

About the role

The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a dynamic Consultant to join the Emergency Department at Grange University Hospital. You will become part of an established, multidisciplinary team delivering critical care services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and high‑quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Lead and support a multi‑disciplinary team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Contribute to service development, teaching and research initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with NHS policies, including the Smoke‑Free Environment policy.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with specialist registration in Emergency Medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams in a high‑pressure environment.
