About the role
We are seeking a Customer Service / Helpdesk Advisor to join a virtual helpdesk team, delivering high‑quality support via phone and email. The role is fully remote, UK‑based, and offers a 3‑month fixed‑term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries through phone and email.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely information in line with agreed processes.
- Record all interactions accurately using internal systems and tools.
- Resolve enquiries at first contact where possible and escalate when required.
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their enquiries.
- Use helpdesk and telephony systems confidently and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and customer‑focused approach at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support service delivery and improvements.
Required profile
- Experience in a customer service, helpdesk, or contact centre environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand diverse customer needs.
- Comfortable working with IT systems and navigating multiple platforms.
- Good organisation, attention to detail, and accurate record‑keeping.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected to the wider team.
- Proactive, reliable, and positive attitude.
