Contract Implementation and Compliance Manager

About the role

The Contract Implementation and Compliance Manager will lead procurement and contracting activities for NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, you will manage a large portfolio of complex contracts, ensuring value for money and compliance with public‑sector standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse contract portfolio from inception to award, applying procurement and sourcing principles.
• Conduct end‑to‑end procurements, including requirement identification, tender evaluation and contract award.
• Analyse product performance, supplier data and tender outcomes to identify savings opportunities.
• Organise product trials, evaluate usage, and report on cost‑efficiency measures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a range of suppliers, driving service improvement through best practice.
• Deliver significant cost savings and efficiencies throughout the contracting process.

Required profile

• Degree level education or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Diploma of C.I.P.S.).
• Proven experience in procurement with a strong track record of delivering complex contracts.
• Demonstrated change‑management experience and leadership capability.
• Extensive experience working with diverse stakeholders in a public‑sector environment.
• Experience using computerized supply‑chain systems and strong IT literacy.
