Corporate Banking Relationship Manager – Credit Analyst (Mandarin)

About the role

Our client, a leading corporate bank in London, is seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Corporate Banking Relationship Manager with strong credit analysis expertise. The successful candidate will combine client‑facing relationship management with the preparation of detailed credit applications for syndicated and bilateral loan facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive credit analyses and applications for corporate borrowers, covering cash‑flow, debt capacity, covenant compliance and risk mitigation.
• Structure and model syndicated and bilateral loan facilities, performing stress‑testing and financial modelling to support credit decisions.
• Collaborate with origination, risk, and legal teams to ensure loan documentation complies with Loan Market Association (LMA) standards.
• Assist the department head in managing and growing relationships with corporate clients, participating in client meetings and presenting tailored financing solutions.
• Monitor loan performance and ensure ongoing compliance with covenants and internal risk appetite.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Relationship Manager or Credit Analyst within corporate banking, leveraged finance or risk management.
• Deep knowledge of the loan market, including syndicated and bilateral facilities and LMA documentation.
• Fluent Mandarin and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
