Customer Experience Graduate

About the role

This graduate programme is designed for recent graduates who want to start a career in customer experience and service operations. Based in Glasgow, you will work within GAP’s National Hiredesk, gaining hands‑on exposure to customer interactions, operational processes and performance measurement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of GAP One, the National Hiredesk, and its support for customers and depots nationwide.
• Handle customer enquiries and support end‑to‑end hire processes while delivering a professional, positive service experience.
• Learn how service performance is measured, including customer feedback, service levels and operational KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, processes and ways of working.
• Support customer experience initiatives and projects that directly impact service quality and satisfaction.
• Build strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• A degree in any discipline.
• Genuine interest in customer experience, service excellence and large‑scale business support.
• Strong, clear and professional communication skills.
• Positive, proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
