About the role
Join Santander’s Glasgow Contact Centre as a Customer Service Advisor, providing first‑line support for Everyday Banking customers. You will handle inbound calls, resolve queries and help customers with routine transactions while delivering a friendly and empathetic experience.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers over the phone.
- Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and service requests.
- Update and maintain accurate customer records.
- Help keep customers and the bank safe by following security procedures.
- Build relationships, identify solutions and suggest improvements to the customer experience.
- Develop knowledge of Santander’s products and services to better support customers.
Required profile
- Friendly, empathetic voice with strong listening skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, telephony‑based environment.
- Flexible, “can‑do” attitude and willingness to work varied shift patterns.
- Comfortable handling a broad range of tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
- Proactive mindset focused on improving processes and customer satisfaction.
