About the role
The NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a permanent Customer Services Stores Operative to support storage and distribution across Ayrshire & Arran. You will be responsible for delivering supplies to multiple sites while ensuring cost‑effective and safe operations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an efficient storage and distribution service for the health board.
- Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle with tail lift to deliver orders to various locations.
- Assist with unloading goods from the National Distribution Service.
- Follow digital tachograph regulations and complete required documentation.
- Participate in corporate induction and mandatory training modules.
Required profile
- Valid UK driving licence (C1 category) with current CPC qualification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to undertake health‑ and safety training, including COSHH, infection control and fire safety.
