About the role
The Directors Office Assistant provides comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Directors Office at Tate. Working in a fast‑moving environment, you will help keep daily activities running smoothly while contributing to the museum’s core mission.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements for senior directors.
- Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
- Handle incoming enquiries, direct calls and liaise with internal departments.
- Assist with event planning and logistical support for exhibitions and meetings.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and high organisational standards.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
What we offer
- Part‑time fixed‑term contract (21.6 hours per week).
- Salary of £17,318 per annum (FTE £28,864).
