Early Career Teacher – Primary School Placement

About the role
Join a supportive network of primary schools across Tameside Borough as an Early Career Teacher. This role offers hands‑on classroom experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 settings, helping you build confidence and discover your teaching niche.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and record pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.
- Collaborate with mentors and senior teachers to refine teaching practice.
- Participate in school-wide activities and pastoral care duties.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher (QTS) or graduate on a teacher training programme.
- Motivated to start a teaching career in a primary setting.
- Willingness to work in Manchester and surrounding areas of North West England.
