About the role
We are looking for qualified Early Years Practitioners who want to transition into a primary school setting. The role involves supporting young learners in Nursery and Reception, delivering the EYFS framework and fostering development through play.
Key responsibilities
- Support children across Nursery and Reception classes.
- Facilitate learning through play and exploration.
- Develop communication, language and early phonics skills.
- Promote early maths and number understanding.
- Encourage personal, social and emotional development.
- Assist with observations, assessments and tracking progress.
- Maintain classroom routines, transitions and a safe, nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other EYFS practitioners.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent experience.
- Recent experience working with young children.
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Nurturing, patient and creative approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children.
