Estates Operations Manager (East Scotland)

About the role

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking an Estates Operations Manager to act as the primary customer interface for its East Scotland estate. You will work closely with local stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to ensure the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality estate services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day building issues for the Ty Taf hub and a small portfolio of nearby sites.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee service delivery by DWP Estates and its supplier partner network, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Support a “One Team” approach to customer care and stakeholder management.
• Contribute to the reputation of DWP Estates as an effective enabler for the wider business.

Required profile

• Experience in facilities or estates management within a large organisation.
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset and ability to manage supplier partnerships.
