About the role

Pearson is seeking qualified teachers to work as remote examiners for the GCSE French (2024 and New Specification). You will mark candidates' responses using the ePEN system or paper scripts, ensuring consistency with the mark scheme.

Key responsibilities

Mark accurately and consistently to maintain overall standards.
Submit sample scripts to your Team Leader at designated times.
Adhere to marking milestones and deadlines.
Complete all required administrative tasks as specified.

Required profile

At least one academic year of teaching experience in French within the last 8 years, or since qualifying as a teacher.
A degree or equivalent qualification.
Qualified teacher status.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
