Financial Accountant (Manchester)

About the role

Join a global organisation with a modern office in Manchester City Centre as a Financial Accountant. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting key finance projects while enjoying strong progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with relevant standards.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage reconciliations and maintain accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to queries.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying improvement areas.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
• Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance team.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA or ACA).
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience working with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid working environment.
