Financial Accountant – Redditch, UK

About the role

Failte Solar is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its UK finance team in Redditch. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day accounting and reporting of the UK entity, supporting the Group finance function and contributing to the company’s sustainable energy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end journals and management accounts for the UK entity.
• Prepare and post intercompany transactions, billing and FX reconciliations.
• Maintain balance‑sheet control files, cash‑flow projections and monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Calculate supplier and customer rebates and support payroll journal reviews.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with group policies.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting packs and KPI analysis for the Group.
• Provide business analysis and intelligence for operational decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
• Strong experience in similar financial accounting roles.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Located near the Redditch office.
