About the role

Our client, an award‑winning independent financial planning firm near Chelmsford, is seeking a Financial Adviser to join their growing team. You will deliver personalised, independent advice to a diverse client base while benefiting from strong paraplanning and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, independent financial advice tailored to each client’s objectives.
• Build and maintain long‑term trusted relationships with existing and new clients.
• Manage and grow a portfolio, leveraging an established client bank and referral network.
• Collaborate with paraplanners and administrators to ensure a seamless client journey.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market, product and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Client‑focused, ethical and proactive approach.
• Ambitious with a desire to develop professionally.
• Chartered status is not mandatory; full exam funding and study support are provided.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and advisory capabilities.
• Ability to interpret financial products and regulations.
