Front of House Assistant

About the role

Join the vibrant front‑of‑house team at 111 by Modou, a fine‑dining venue in Glasgow that blends relaxed fun with high‑quality service. As a Front of House Assistant you will be the face of the restaurant, delivering attentive, knowledgeable service to every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current menus, food and wine offerings.
• Support the head waiter/waitress in providing excellent customer service.
• Deliver dishes to tables, describing food and wine selections.
• Clear tables promptly and ensure appropriate cutlery is set.
• Prepare and serve drinks at the bar.
• Display enthusiasm and a positive attitude with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar front‑of‑house or serving role.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
