Graduate Accounts Assistant

About the role

Axon Moore Group Ltd is partnering with a fast‑growing business in Manchester city centre to hire a Graduate Accounts Assistant. This newly created, full‑time position is ideal for a 2025 or 2026 Accountancy or Finance graduate who wants hands‑on experience in a supportive, hybrid finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the finance team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks such as journal entries, invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Prepare basic financial reports and support month‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate records in the accounting system and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve accounting queries.

Required profile

• 2025 or 2026 degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Placement year or initial work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, positive mindset with a genuine desire to develop a finance career.
