About the role
RLB is looking for a recent graduate to join its Health & Safety team in London. You will work on construction and property projects, helping to embed safety into design, construction and ongoing management. Structured training and mentoring will support you on the path to chartered status.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advisory services on CDM, Building Safety Act and Building Regulations, supporting clients to meet legal obligations.
- Conduct risk assessments and on‑site safety audits, documenting hazards such as working at height and asbestos.
- Prepare, review and maintain health and safety documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to integrate safety practices into project planning and execution.
- Develop professional skills including problem‑solving, time management, communication and stakeholder management.
Required profile
- A degree in a construction‑related discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
- Strong interest in health and safety and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent observational abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations (CDM) and any prior experience in construction, property or risk management is desirable.
