Group Business Development Director

About the role

We are seeking a Group Business Development Director to lead the acquisition of new clients for Staffscanner’s core offering and for emerging technology and service products across the wider group. The role is senior, hands‑on and focused on building strategic relationships that translate into commercial wins, particularly in sectors where credibility and trust are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and create new business opportunities across target markets, with an emphasis on healthcare, care, technology and service sectors.
• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key decision‑makers to drive revenue growth.
• Lead the end‑to‑end sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to shape go‑to‑market strategies for new‑to‑market solutions.
• Provide regular performance reporting and market insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven track record in senior business development or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience in healthcare, care, technology or service‑focused environments.
• Strong ability to open doors, build trust and convert conversations into commercial outcomes.
• Comfortable operating with minimal structure and driving momentum in a growing business.
