Group Management Accountant – Multi‑Entity Finance Role

About the role

As a Group Management Accountant you will own month‑end processes and reporting for a fast‑growing international SME with multiple entities and currencies. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate financial information and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of month‑end processes, checks and reconciliations across multiple group entities.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and reporting.
• Use Excel, Power BI and other technology to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Prepare accruals, pre‑payments, fixed assets and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Support accurate and timely management accounting and financial reporting.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for international entities.
• Oversee client billing and reconcile related data.
• Review bank reconciliations, cash positions and group payment runs.
• Assist with audit queries and maintain strong financial controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers.
• Guide and support the wider finance team to meet key deadlines.

Required profile

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified (or part‑qualified).
• Strong hands‑on month‑end and management accounting experience.
• Genuine interest in improving finance processes.
• Experience working in multi‑entity environments.
• Strong Excel skills and good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and reporting.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with confidence to drive change.
• Experience in both SME and larger, structured organisations is a plus.
