Head of Management Accounting – Hospitality Group

About the role

This senior finance position leads the Management Accounts function for a fast‑growing hospitality group in Central London. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the monthly accounts, drive process improvements and help shape a scalable finance operation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
• Manage, mentor and develop a small team of two finance professionals.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives across the finance function.
• Implement stronger financial controls and robust reporting procedures.
• Partner with operational stakeholders across the group.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Review and enhance existing systems and workflows.
• Assist with strategic and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Extensive management‑accounting experience, preferably within hospitality, leisure, retail or multi‑site environments.
• Previous experience managing a finance team.
• Proven track record of delivering process improvements and efficiencies.
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive and comfortable in a fast‑paced setting.
• Ambitious and eager to progress within a growing business.
