Health Visitor – Band 7 (Forres, Moray)

About the role

The Health Visitor (Band 7) will join the Health Visiting team in Forres, Moray, delivering essential services to children and families, particularly those with known vulnerabilities. The service works with a varied client population, providing health promotion, preventive care and support to improve overall wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of families, delivering health education, advice and preventive interventions.
• Conduct child protection assessments and intervene where needed.
• Work with vulnerable families to improve health outcomes and promote health improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with other health professionals and community services to ensure holistic care.
• Travel throughout the Moray area to ensure consistent service delivery across the community.

Required profile

• Proven experience in health visiting, caseload management and child protection.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned area.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and handling sensitive information responsibly.
