Hotel Night Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Night Receptionist to join our hotel team and deliver exceptional guest experiences during the overnight shift. You will act as the face of the property, ensuring safety, comfort, and personalized service for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle all guest requests with professionalism.
• Answer internal and external calls, providing accurate information and a warm tone.
• Assist with rooming, deliver in‑room amenities, and give guests a brief overview of room features and technology.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest profiles, preferences, and booking details.
• Perform front‑of‑house administrative tasks, including accurate invoicing and credit‑card processing.
• Provide local area knowledge, recommendations, and make reservations for guests.
• Ensure the front desk area is secure, tidy, and ready for the next shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Experience with hotel openings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, service‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently during night hours and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Competitive gross annual salary of £36,000‑£37,500 (inclusive of service charge) based on a 40‑hour week.
