Implementation & Training Lead

About the role

Alfred H Knight is seeking an Implementation & Training Lead to head the new implementation and training capability within its Technology function. Based at the global head office in Prescot, you will drive the rollout of core global systems such as LIMS and Job Management tools across an international network of laboratories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Implementation Analysts, fostering accountability and professional growth.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end implementation lifecycle for a global pipeline of projects, spanning locations from Bolivia to Romania and Saudi Arabia to Mozambique.
• Establish and maintain high‑quality working practices, ensuring governance, risk management and best‑practice standards are applied.
• Manage capacity, plan work against targets and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Proven experience in technology implementation for operational software, particularly LIMS and Job Management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver global training programmes and change‑management initiatives.
• Solid understanding of project governance, risk controls and international delivery planning.
• Leadership and clear communication skills to mentor technical team members.
