IT Project Manager – Pharmacy & Regulated Technology (GDPR, HIPAA)

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within the pharmacy sector. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards such as GDPR and HIPAA while driving measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of pharmacy‑focused IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and resources with disciplined governance.
• Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams and third‑party vendors to align delivery with strategic priorities.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory standards and audit requirements.
• Provide clear project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting to senior leadership.
• Communicate status, risks and decisions to stakeholders confidently.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
• Support change management and user adoption for smooth transition to business‑as‑usual.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in regulated environments (pharmacy, healthcare, finance).
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills at senior and executive levels.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and risk‑management capabilities.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore delivery teams within structured governance models.
