IT Support Apprentice

About the role

Imperial College London is offering an 18‑month fixed‑term IT Support Apprentice position based at the South Kensington campus. The role starts on 12 August 2026 and provides a salary of £29,586 per annum while you work across a rotating schedule between 08:30 and 18:00.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve incidents, fulfil service requests and respond to queries from staff and students.
• Deliver 1st‑line remote support via phone, email and live chat, managing tickets in the service management system.
• Provide face‑to‑face assistance at the TechBar locations on campus.
• Perform deskside, in‑person technical support across Imperial College buildings.

• Analytical, solution‑oriented and resilient when tackling challenging issues.
• Reliable, organised and able to stay calm under pressure.
